Awareness Statement: Safe and Inclusive Concerts and Events
“Hey!”, “No, no!” and “Listen!” are phrases that can be translated into Spanish as “¡Oye!”. These are exactly the kinds of reactions we want to trigger at our concerts and events. Love Music, Hate Hate.
Who are we? A small group of music-loving friends who have made producing concerts and events their hobby. But we are about more than just music. We believe that concerts and events should be places where everyone feels safe, respected and empowered. As a progressive group, we are firmly against any form of discrimination and promote the principle: "Only yes means yes."
Our mission:
We are committed to creating environments where consent, safety and respect are non-negotiable. At every concert and event, we ensure that all participants feel protected and valued. Discrimination of any kind has no place with us, and we strive to promote inclusivity and equality in every way.
Our promise:
Respect and consent: We believe that “Only yes means yes.” Every participant has the right to enjoy the music and atmosphere without fear of harassment or discrimination.
Safe spaces: We actively work to create a space where all concertgoers feel comfortable by ensuring that boundaries are respected and every voice is heard.
Inclusiveness: We celebrate diversity and are committed to ensuring that everyone – regardless of gender, identity or origin – feels welcome at our events.
Call to Action:
We invite everyone to join us in creating a safer and more inclusive music culture. Come to our events, respect each other, and let's work together to make Yes Means Yes the norm. Whether you're enjoying the music or working with us behind the scenes, you're part of the movement to create safer and more respectful spaces for everyone.
Let's change the culture together. Because every voice counts – Love Music, Hate Hate .
